BACKGROUND: Lua is a health and fitness nut with a heart of gold and a love of the outdoors. She is specialized as a Healthy Eating & Weight Loss Coach, as well as a certified BeachBody© PiYo instructor. She has been practicing yoga for over 12 years, is a former runner and half-marathoner, and keeps a strict pescatarian diet. She loves to golf, and is an assistant coach with the Special Olympics Ontario Golf Program.
Lua also loves hiking, especially high altitude trekking – she visits the Rocky Mountains on a yearly basis, climbed the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and most recently trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
TRAINING STYLE: Lua is a certified SURFSET trainer who loves working with people of all fitness levels, especially beginners who are just starting to make fitness a part of their lifestyle. Pulling from her yoga & endurance training background, she emphasizes moving with the breath, and she’s a stickler for correct form.
